Estrogen and thyroid: Unfortunately the two items can interact/interfere with each other and you need to get to your primary care doctor as soon as possible! It is likely that your doctor will refer you immediately to an Endocrinologist. Please let me know how things go.

No: Hyperthyroidism generally is a long-term or permanent condition, unless treated. It doesn't come and go. Talk w/your doctor about other possibilities.
