Acid reflux: This is an inhibitor of the proton pump that produces stomach acid. It is prescribed for acid reflux, stomach acidity, indigestion and as an adjunct for medications such as Ibuprofen which can cause excess acid and stomach upset as well as ulcerations and bleeding.
