Dental appt: The abscess can be from periodontal problems or endodontic problems. Wither way it needs to be treated by a dentist. Letting it fester will only result in more pain and eventual loss of the tooth. The sooner you call the better off you will be.

Have infection Rx: An abscess is from an infected tooth. If the "blister" pops, it just means pus is now draining into your mouth. Although you may feel better because the pressure is relieved, the infection is still spreading through your circulatory system and now also spilling over into your mouth. The only permanent cure for abscess is root canal rx or extraction. Please call dentist before this worsens.
