Is inflamm. in pancreas normal? i have a mri sched. but i didn't have any severe signs of pancreatis + bloodwork came back ok. do have abdominal pain.

Pancreatic: Inflammation is not normal and be aware that alcohol and certain meds can trigger it. If the tests for pancreatitis are normal, ask your dr the cause of your abdominal pain. Not normal: Pancreatic inflammation is never normal. If your labs have been normal, specifically lipase, you have no biochemical evidence of pancreatitis. Abdominal pain is very nonspecific so that may not indicate pancreatitis either. See what the MRI shows.
