Limitations of the s: A holter monitor is a great non-invasive evaluation for alterations in heart rhyhthm. It is limited to that, and cannot give any indication regarding coronary arteries, heart enlargement, or anything else. Given your age and, i assume, no abnormalities on your monitor your doctor's response is appropriate. More information requires more and different testing.
