Dr. Arti Jain answered

Erosion of enamel: Teeth become sensitive to sweets if they were polished recently, in which case it resolves w time. If it is due to erosion enamel, use toothpaste for sensitive teeth. It can occur due to leaky filling. If that is the case, get your filling replaced. Hope that helps.

Many reasons: Teeth can become sensative from: cavities, ginding, brushing too hard, crunching on things such as ice and nails, eating acidic foods, new fillings, and teeth whiteners even toothpastes with whiteners. The best remedy is to stop what you may think is causing the problem and use a toothpaste for sensativity and see a dentist. This may take a few months to resolve.
