Cough....: Before a cough can be treated, the cause of the cough must first be diagnosed. Only a cough due to a bacterial infection of the airways (bronchitis) or lung itself (pneumonia) would need to be treated with antibiotics. If your doctor determines that antibiotics are needed, there are many antibiotics with good lung penetration, some oral, others iv. So, see your doctor for diagnosis/treatment.
