A member asked:

Does reclast (zoledronic acid) interfere with knee replacement surgery?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

I don't think so: Medicines like Reclast (zoledronic acid) are just about standard of care following repair of hip fractures (along with vitamin d and calcium). I am not aware studies in elective knee replacement though. Certainly check with your orthopedic surgeon.
