I am 47 & i weigh 330 lbs., can i still have knee replacement surgery.?

Yes: Weight is not a reason not to do a knee replacement, but the results from the surgery and the complication rate is considerably poorer than those of normal weight.

Check your BMI: A patient's body mass index or bmi needs to be measured prior to surgery. There is solid scientific evidence to suggest that the results are compromised and the complication rate after knee replacement surgery is higher if a patient's bmi is over 40, even worse if the bmi is over 50. Weight loss to bring your bmi down prior to surgery is recommended.
