Mononucleosis&saliva: Mononucleosis is caused by epstein barr virus which is in saliva and by kissing it can be trasferred from mouth to mouth thats why it is also called kissing disease.Vrus is present bin saliva of the person who has the disease or is a carrier of the eb virus, without symptoms of disease.
