Be patient: What appears to be a slight tongue tie to us may never produce problems. Interference with breast feeding is one early issue, but by 9 mo that has passed. If the tongue tip can reach over the lower teeth, it should not interfere with speech development. Feeding activity often stretches the frenum over time so this can improve if left alone.Treatment method should be the one the doc is skilled with.

That depends: If it does not interfere with feeding, then leave it alone for now. If as she grows up it interferes with speak then reevaluate it at that time. If treatment is needed have it done by an oral surgeon or ear, nose and throat specialist. Both techniques are good, depends which one the surgeon likes best.
