Traumatic diploplia: In general, after a year, there is no expectation for the double vision to resolve. Most times, an improvement is seen between 3 to 6 months post injury, anything longer is most likely permanent.

Likely wont: Neurological issues usually resolve somewhat within first few months. After 6 months, whatever is left over will be permanent. However, it can likely be treated without surgery. An ophthalmologist can prescribe prisms into your glasses and take care of the double vision. Surgery is also an option. Good luck and feel better.
