Persistent pain: In your hip could mean something more serious is going on. It is possible that you have a hairline fracture in the hip, possibly at the neck if you are having groin pain, ct or MRI will show this. It is also possible that you have a cartilage or labral injury within the hip. Mri can clear it up. If it is on the outside of the hip could be bursitis. I would see an orthopaedist.
