Wait!...: If you have 'no problems' about your cycle, do you mean your cycles are regular every month? If 'yes, ' pcos is almost certainly not your diagnosis, check with doctor again.

Insulin Resistance: If you were diagnosed with pcos, you are most certainly Insulin resistant, or "pre-diabetic". Treatment for this, with metformin or some other agent will help, more in the long run than bcp's.
