Many have PCOS: We are waiting for researchers to discover the actual cause or causes of PCOS. Current thought is that the cause is genetic and not under a person's control... but life is never that simple. Maybe getting one's insulin and other hormones (thyroid, cortisol, etc...) as balanced as possible can help. That means minimizing sugars and carbs, and eating fewer calories than needed for daily life.
