PCOS: Not every women w pcos has the typical characteristics associated with the syndrome. If your not planning to conceive. Best to be on birth controll pills until the time you want to try to conceive. If you are trying to get pregnant Clomid therapy, possible use of glucophage (metformin). Also many consider laparoscopic ovarian drilling. Difficult topic to discuss in a short paragraph.

PCOS: When you ask what else will help, it implies that you've tried something already for that. If you have indeed, let us know so we can go from there. Things besides healthy diet and exercise that can help are medications such as birth control pills, metformin, clomid. I had one patient who did well on Actos (pioglitazone) and now has 2 kids.
