Yes and no: Depo-provera will reduce the multiple ovarian cyst formation and inhibit some of the symptoms of PCOS. The downside is that once the Depo-provera is stopped then the same ovulation difficulties will reappear and spontaneous ovulation/fertility is still a problem Moreover, Depo-provera can cause irregular bleeding/spotting.
