Peroneal tendons?: When you sprain the ankle, it is very common to get a longitudinal tear of the peroneus longus or peroneus brevis tendon, especially when there is an injury to the anterior talofibular ligament. Have your podiatrist revisit the MRI for a torn peroneal tendon.
