Tenosynovitis: Tenosynovitis means inflammation of the internal lining/membrane of a tendon. The Flexor Hallucis Longus or Flexor Digitorum longus tendons run along the medial ankle to the bottom of the foot to each respective toe. The FHL and FDL tendons, along with the Posterior Tibial Tendon and a Neurovascular bundle run in the tarsal canal, so, yes, inflammation of any of these tendons can affect Tarsal T
