Your discomfort: Likely isnt coming from the cervix, but yes there is always pressure there, as in other parts of the uterus. It could be your bladder if its in the vagina, or the head can be low. Mention this to your doc and go in if you are urination more than 2x per night or having to go all day. Good luck.
