Im 15weeks with di/di twins. i get pelvic pressure from time to time. it ranges from mild-moderate. ive had my cervix checked multiple times & it remains long & closed. my obgyn isnt worried but i am terrified to lose my babies. request cerclage?

Twin prgnancies ?'s: Although twin pregnancies cause accelerated pressure and discomfort throughout, the best safeguard for premature delivery is cervical dilation, which can be measured fairly accurately with serial ultrasound. If significant shortening or dilation of the cervix is detected, a cerclage may be advised if the pregnancy is less than 30 weeks. Stay in touch with your OB provider.
