Possible , : 6 months is enough time for complete healing , yes pain could be due to stretching near the sac tissue , you continue your gym activities progressively , how ever go for a follow up visit to your surgeon to make sure you have no recurrence , before resuming to pre operative level of activity

Inguinal hernia: Well, yes, it is likely the site of your hernia repair that is hurting but it doesn't mean you have damaged the repair. You naturally develop scar tissue from the implanted mesh and now that you are getting back to exercise, you are probably pulling and stretching that scar tissue and that is causing soreness. Just don't overdo it and gradually increase your activity.

Possible: It could be related, but i would consider that normal. Especially if you haven't been working out in some time, it is normal to have a variety of aches and pains, particularly at a previous surgical site. If it becomes severe or limits your activities, see your surgeon. Otherwise, be smart, stretch, and don't overdo it in the beginning. Congrats on getting back in shape. Hope this helps!
