Graduated: Many surgeons adhere to a traditional 6 weeks to return of activity. However, for those patients who are young and in good health. There is room for a graduated return to activity, such that by 6 weeks, you are back to a full, unrestrictive routine. Talk to your surgeon and get his/her advice based on your age, health and particular hernia problem.
