A member asked:

Can someone assist me in locating or compiling a comprehensive list of all the classifications of pain. ie (neuropathic, musculoskeletal & ect)?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Pain: In pain management, rao is considered the bible. This well-written without seeming like an encyclopedia. There are also some very excellent books which are published by asipp, although those books can only be obtained on asipps website. Rao's book can be ordered on amazon. Medtronic also has a good listing of pains that are purely neuropathic purely somatic and pains which overlap.
