Epiglottitis: Hello, it uncommon for adults to develop epiglottitis in our generation because of the immunization s we have had as children. In some people, their epiglottis is easily seen in the back of the throat with opening and projecting the tongue forcefully. It is worth a trip to your doctor for an evaluation for a reason for the globus sensation and the pain.
