Shoulder pain: A true "frozen" shoulder should at a minimum receive an injection of Marcaine (local anesthetic) and steroid followed up by physical therapy. If this does not work an orthopedist would then take you to the or and under general anesthesia force your shoulder to move. There are no oral medications for this.
