Frozen shoulder. : Best analgesic way is moisture heating pad local apply for 15 minutes and active and passive range of motion routinely. If acute pain may apply icy pad. Nsaids, such as celebrex, Mobic (meloxicam) etc, are also indicated. Avoid narcotic pain medications, which will relieve your pain briefly and bring you more pain later. Narcotics are not indicated for such kind chronic pain.

The shoulder paradox: Unusual to the shoulder joint, once it starts to 'get stuck', the pain develops, and pain increases as the joint becomes 'more stuck'.
