Evaluation needed...: There are a lot of medical reasons for weight gain. If you are still gaining despite restricting calories & exercising (so that calories expended exceeds calorie intake), ask your doctor to check for causes of metabolic syndrome (e.g. Diabetes, adrenal problems), for excess fluid retention (congestive diseases, hypoproteinemia, ascites, kidney issues, etc.), & check your medications & supplements.
