See below: This can be caused by many things. First, are you overweight or obese? If so or you eat a lot of meat (esp red meat), your body is making more steroid hormones than it needs to, particularly testosterone (women need this too) - that will cause excess hair on the face and chest. Second, are your periods regular - if not, see your gynecologist for an evaluation. Third, it may be partly genetic.
