Double chk diagnosis: Many things can cause chest pain, pleurisy, esophogeal spasms, costochondritis, heart disease, etc... Assuming it is reflux causing the pain, different acid suppression medications are available, have frequent small meals, stay upright after eating, avoid alcohol, caffeine, and chocolate. Some of the acid suppression medications have to be taken before eating on an empty stomach. Good luck.
