If the pain: Is worse with positional change or movement, it could be due to misalignment of thoracic vertebrae from bad posture or workplace ergonomics. If you don't have any chest tightness, sweating or shortness or breath, then try simple things like rolling your back on a foam roller to see if they'll realign. Then see an osteopath or a physical therapist.
