Type?: Complete wrist fusion will take 12-14 weeks to fully heal but it is performed with a fusion plate that will allow you to be out of a splint or cast in 3 weeks as the plate will support the wrist. Partial wrist fusion with pinning, limited plates or headless screws will require longer period of immobilization depending on technique.
