A 36-year-old member asked:
Can you play football with wrist cast?
1 doctor answer • 4 doctors weighed in

Dr. Brian Chimenti answered

Wrist fracture: Stable fractures can often be immobilized in a cast that is padded to allow football participation. Unstable fractures however should not be subjected to contact activities for fear of further displacement or angulation. This can occur even inside a protective cast for certain injuries. Talk to your orthopedic surgeon to be sure.
