Weeks to months.: Tendons heal with time and rest. Depending on your rehab and how severe it was, it may take weeks to months. Go see your physical therapist for advice on exercises and when to start.

It depends: There are several tendons and many more ligaments of the wrist. Ususally when referring to a strain it is in referrence to a ligament. Tendons become inflammed and are referred to as tendonitis. A strained ligament can take several weeks to months to completely heal and many times depending on which ligament surgery is often needed. Tendons, treated conservatively can heal in 3-4 weeks.
