Hysterectomy: A total abdominal hysterectomy could last 45 minutes to multiple hours depending on how complicated your case is, prior surgeries, your weight, findings intraoperatively, cancer related surgery etc. If it is for a thin patient, with no prior surgeries, no pelvic masses etc, probably around 45 min to 2 hours depending on surgeon experience. This can vary a lot.
