2-6 weeks: Most patients will be discharged from the hospital 48-72 hours after surgery. Most will be uncomfortable for about 2 weeks and be able to return to work around week 6.

Depends : You will usually spend anywhere from 1-4 days in the hospital depending on the type of hysterectomy you have (abdominal vs vaginal vs robotic). It usually takes the vagina 4-6 weeks to heal completely. Total recovery time is usually around 6-8 weeks. During this time, you should slowly be resuming your daily activities.
