How does hydrogen peroxide gargles act post tonsillectomy ?

They produce..: A lot of foam. I personally don't recommend it. It works by killing bacteria but also removes the white scab on the tonsil bed. I would be concerned about promoting bleeding. I have seen no studies suggest that it is good or bad.
