Sand flea bite showing up a week later, is this normal and how can i get rid of it?

A bite alone: will not usually take a week to show up but it can. A sand flea burrowing under the skin and laying eggs can give you symptoms for weeks. It is important not to scratch the bites. Use Ibuprofen for pain and an antihistamine for itching. Some relief can be obtained with the use of Aloe vera or teat tree oil.
