Is an omentum hernia dangerous?

maybe: By this i will presume you mean that a portion of the omentum is herniated through part of your abdominal wall. This is not dangerous per se, and has a very low risk of becoming life threatening. In time however, more omentum can herniate, and then intestine can follow, this putting you at higher risk. Reapir of the hernia for preventing this in the future is a resonable consideration.
