Yes!!!: Fashion rarely has to do with anything sensible. And our bodies were not designed to walk in high heals. It not only effects your feet, but your knees and your hips. Will get much worse with age or weight gain.

Yes: Even after surgery you will need sensible shoes or you risk continued injury to your feet.
