Prolonged earache: Hello, if you are having prolonged ear pain, it may be related to your TMJ joint. Since the jaw joint is so close to the ear canal, pain from the joint is often referred to the ear. Check with your doctor. There are many possible causes and a detailed history and physical will help identify the cause and thus the treatment.
