i have this tooth problem and am not sure if it is tmj or wisdom tooth .my jaw cracks on the right side when i open or yawn but hurts on the left ?

TMJ : Sounds more to me that you are dealing with TMJ issues. You can be having both problems at the same time so it would be advisable to see your dentist if pain is severe. For TMJ antiinflammatory meds like Ibuprofen usually help with problem. Feel better soon.

Maybe: When you open wide and your joint (TMJ) makes noise it is a sign that there has been some incident (stress, staying open for long periods, grinding/clenching) that caused the joint capsule to swell and move the joint out of position. It should resolve if it is simply from the extraction. If it does not resolve or gets worse you should see your dentist and be evaluated for night guard treatment.

Possibly : Your tooth is reacting to the drop in temperature that occurs when you open and yawn. Does the tooth tingle if you drink a cold liquid?

when i yawn, stretch, or sneeze, my jaw will start quivering/teeth chatter for a long time. what is causing this?

How long ago did: You have the procedures done.   Either the tooth ext or the adenoids removal could have stretched the muscles enough to give some fatigue and the muscles may just be responding to that.   Warm compresses before stretching should help the muscles and if they are used quite a bit cold and then warm alternating may also be soothing..  Be careful it's not the extreme  temperature  but the time.

laugh/yawn really hard my jaw gets locked it's on the bit between the neck and chin it feels like something is getting stuck it's hard to describe had it for a while i grind my teeth out of anxiety alot and there's no pain? i'm very worried about it?

: I suspect that your temporomandibular joint is tight from chronic stress and this causes cramping of jaw muscles when you yawn. It's like a charley horse in your leg. An oral surgeon can evaluate &amp; advise you. Stress management therapy. should help alleviate chronic stress and/or anxiety.

Jaw joint issue?: The muscles that protrude (move forward) the lower jaw attach to the skull in front of the ear canal. In fact, the "front" of the ear canal is the "back" of the jaw joint. If you clench or grind your teeth while sleeping, you can cause muscle spasms, ligament damage, and/or nerve damage to the joint that your brain "feels" as ear pain. Have your dentist make you a proper nightguard.
