A member asked:

When i yawn, stretch, or sneeze, my jaw will start quivering/teeth chatter for a long time. what is causing this?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

How long ago did: You have the procedures done. Either the tooth ext or the adenoids removal could have stretched the muscles enough to give some fatigue and the muscles may just be responding to that. Warm compresses before stretching should help the muscles and if they are used quite a bit cold and then warm alternating may also be soothing.. Be careful it's not the extreme temperature but the time.
