Yes.: There are many mechanisms by which aneurysms arise. Some are congenital (you are born with them); others, can develop over time. It is possible that a new aneurysm could develop over the period of a year.

Possibly: Magnetic resonance imaging, is a non-invasive, non-radiation method of cross section imaging.  It is used to look at soft tissues, blood vessels and bone. Mri spine imaging will look at bone and the spinal cord with spinal nerves cords. An aneurysm is a blood vessel defect, usually of an artery such as the aorta, which lies in front of the spine.  Whether this is seen depends on the image window.

would you be able to see the aorta for aneurysm on a lower back mri?

Yes: The majority of MRI exams of the lower back include the abdominal aorta.  Occasionally, the front part of the aorta is cut off (not included in the images).  This may necessitate additional imaging such as ct.

Sorry, no...: I would advise you to not dwell on things that could  develop. I'd like to see you focus on things you can control, such as diet, lifestyle, exercise, and life choices.  Certainly if some symptoms develop that indicate such concerns, then your health team will direct the appropriate work up.  There are appropriate age and family history screens that can be applied. Need more than that: Cerebral aneurysm is a serious life threatening condition , if event happens (if it reputes) less than  50% will survive, out of them again less than 50% walk away with out neurological damage, results with intervention(surgery or coil ) is excellent , please choose experienced team and follow their advise  and save your life.

Yes: MRI will show an aneurysm.  Your headaches could be due to other reason.  If you got an MRI done already a physician is already involved so go back to your physician so they can further investigate the cause of your headaches.

Maybe Not: Even an MRA can miss a very small aneurysm.  Here is the problem, with a headache patient, in an ideal world, it would be nice if we could get MRI/MRA studies on every patients.  BUT insurance companies think different.  If aneurysm is a worry, I often have to show that a regular MRI was "negative" before insurances will allow an MRA and STILL have to fill out gobs of paperwork to justify.

went to a optomologist and was diagnosed with 4th nerve palsy in one eye, he said all my tests he did came back good but wants to send me for mri to check for tumor or aneurysm. if he doesnt think it is why is he sending me? im giving myself anxiet?

Cranial 4th nerve : A bulging area of an artery (aneurysm) around the brain can press on the 4th cranial nerve and cause palsy. While your doctor may feel it is not likely, he/she needs to be sure.
