Tailors bunion: bone spur or tailors bunion deformity. The shoe rubs on the skin and the skin rubs on the spur causing the pain. As we age the bone or knuckle gets bigger. Wider shoes can help or surgery to remove the spur can help. See your local podiatrist

Where?: I don't see an x-ray.  But even if i did, diagnosing a problem based solely on an x-ray is not doing you a service.  The best way to end your chronic foot pain is to be evaluated by a podiatrist or orthopedic foot specialist.

Foot pain: Where in your foot is the pain.  Does the pain go away when you rest and come back when you are on your feet.  What kind of shoes do you wear.
   Most foot pain has wearing poor fitting shoes as the cause.

i dropped 2 very heavy pot lids on top of my left foot...it is so painful i have not slept and i can not bear weight on it...should i go have it xray.

Yes: Pain and inability to bear weight might indicate a fracture and imagining should be obtained

repeat: You should see your doctore again for repeat xrays. A hairline fracture may not be detected on intial xrays, but may be visible on delayed xrays. But the fact that you can walk pain free is very reassuring.

25lb plate weight on foot severe swelling @ xray was clear. swelling increasing w/ ice & elevation. pain increasing. 2nd opinion when swelling reduces?

2nd opinion now-: -you could very well have a compartment syndrome, which is a very urgent problem.
