Xanthelasma?: You are quite young for these.  These yellowish plaques tend to occur around the eye and are sometimes indicative of hypercholesterolemia.  If your cholesterol is elevated you might benefit from treatment and maybe the xanthelasma will improve.

Unlikely: Usual xanthelasmas are due to excessive fats in blood and that needs to be addressed by your doctor.
Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex. 
Get HPV vaccine, if you are under 27 years of age.

They can be surgically treated/emptied in a variety of ways. However the best is likely to check & optimize the NMR particle test to ↓ or stop what drives them & artery disease.

The treatment for xanthelasma is to lower your cholesterol, either by diet/exercise or lipid-lowering agents like statins & omega-3 fish oil supplements. Surgery is rarely indicated.

No, not true: Hi. Xanthelasma are a marker of some cases of extremely high cholesterol (LDL). First of all, ask your doc to do a lipid panel. Make sure what you have really are xanthelasma. Have your doc check your tendons for tendon xanthomata. There is absolutely no time limit on when heart attacks occur in the setting of xanthelasma or any xanthomata. But if LDL is very high, of course you're at high risk.
