A member asked:

Can you have xanthelasma and not have high cholesterol?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Of course: Despite the pop wisdom, the correlation between xanthelasma (fatty deposits near the eyes) and having high cholesterol is only slight. Anecdotally, i've had two friends whose xanthelasma has disappeared when they undertook fitness training, but this is hardly science. Best wishes.
