Fat deposits in Skin: Xanthelasma are fat deposits in the skin, often around the eyes. Presence strongly suggests high fat carrying particle (lipoprotein) concentrations in the water outside cells & ↑ rate of progression of arterial disease. They can be surgically treated/emptied in a variety of ways. However the best is likely to check & optimize the NMR particle test to ↓ or stop what drives them & artery disease.
