i am on xanax (alprazolam) i have tried weining my six week old to formula however it just causes her constipation pain! breastmilk is the only thing that gives he?

Talk w/pediatrician: Please discuss this with your pediatrician.  Your baby may not be ready to wean yet -- 6 weeks is very young.  Or, she may be intolerant of some of the ingredients in the formula.  There are many to choose from.  Incidence of adverse events in infants exposed to benzodiazepines (like xanax) in breast milk, is low -- not zero, but low.  Your bonding together is also very important.

No problems: with either of these two things that I know of.  They may not help, but they probably can't hurt.

Check with doctor: Xanax (alprazolam) doesn&#x27;t come in 10 mg strength of bar or tablet. You probably have the 2 mg bar scored to be easily taken in lesser amounts. Check with prescribing doctor to clarify what is the best dose if you can&#x27;t take the whole bar. Take care.

Xanax (alprazolam) prozac: These two medicines are used together.  If your experience with prozac was not negative today, then taking xanax (alprazolam) tonight will be safe. If you can get by with half dose of xanax (alprazolam), then you may be  better off, but that adjustment is probably not essential.

However, if anxiety is a problem, the cause of the problem is important -because when you know how something works and why,  you can dosomething about it. Work out what this is about in therapy and maybe you won't need the xanax (alprazolam).

Probably nothing: There is no contraindication for the use of xanax (alprazolam) (a benzodiazapine anti-anxiety agent along with Mirtazapine an antidepressant! OBVIOUSLY this must be ordered by an experienced mental health Professional!
