Palpitations: In most cases of outpatient anesthesia, any preoperative issues, including palpitations, new or old, require evaluation by a physician. Patients undergoing such procedures must be on a professional OR grade monitor, but the EKG tracings do NOT allow for complete evaluation as a 12 lead would. And most dentists administering GA are NOT qualified to "read" an EKG or decide on safety in.  such cases.

: ANXIETY AND STRESS WILL ELEVATE YOUR HR ESPECIALLY OF AN EXTRACTION OF A WISDOM TOOTH. WHEN THE BLEEDING AND PAIN SUBSIDE YOUR HR WILL BECOME LOWER TO IT'S NORMAL RATE.

No not directly: But increased physical or emotional stress (e.g. Pain) can bring them out.

are there any common ingredients in epidual in childbirth & local anaesthesia in dental work that may induce syncope, fever, or heart palpitations?

Yes (dental): Not at all sure about epidurals used in childbirth but many dental local anesthetics have Epinephrine (adrenaline) to prolong the anesthetic effect. This can definitely cause palpitations depending on your sensitivity to it. Syncope is usually due to anxiety associated with the injection so not technically ingredient related. I'm not aware of any ingredients in dental preparations that cause fever.

is it normal to experience anxiety as a start up effect for venlafaxine? heart palpitations upon waking up. dry mouth. just started 75mg last night.

Heart palpitations: dry mouth and anxiousness are potential side effects of the venlafaxine however it would be rare to experience these after a single dose. Call your health care provider to see if he/she wants to continue the medication for you or stop it.

See details: Then see your doctor and have the issues evaluated. There are several possible causes for your symptoms including connective tissue disorders.

i have low vitamin d level of 17. my doctor prescribed me 50,000 unit cap one by mouth weekly. isnt that too much vitamin d? i read where youre only supposed to take 2,000 a day. im already having heart palpitations and high blood pressure?

: 50,000 units/week for 3 months would replenish your stores. You may take 4000 units a day for as long as you like without risk of toxicity. It is better to take vitamin D3 than D2.

Ice: Ice pack will help to dull the pain, 20min on 20min off, keep you head elevated.  Otherwise rx pain meds could help as well.

: If you did before should be OK.  I assume you were not using anything in your mouth to lift weights to strengthen you neck muscles?

May or may not be: It depends upon the difficulty of the extractions, your pain threshold, what if anything you are taking for pain control, and largely whether the pain has gotten worse, better or the same since day one.  It is best that you call the dentist who removed your teeth, discuss your discomfort and request advice as to what to do, if anything and whether or not you should be seen in the office.
